With Cargo Cults Unlimited, the MEN tackles the teeming theme of the globalised economy. Highly material, to the point of threatening to exhaust the earth's resources,  this field of human activity is also made up of ethereal abstractions, prophetic discourses, mimetic behaviour and bureaucratic protocols. The exhibition invites us to read this complexity by drawing on the imaginary world associated with the "cargo cults".
