Every year, around 90% of the world's used tyres are burnt and not reused. It was this observation that gave me the idea of using this little-used material.

One way of recycling tyres is to grind them into rubber shavings and compact them with resin to mould objects. Using this material, objects have been created to secure bicycles in the city. It can be attached to existing installations such as lampposts and signposts..

LL RACK is a system of 3 modules that can be adapted to different post diameters to create bicycle parking spaces on existing urban installations. This flexible, non-slip material protects both the bicycle and the street furniture to which it is attached.
